Did you know that buildings are on average 30% underinsured! This is due to a sharp increase in the cost of materials and labor over the recent years and the tougher government requirements that must be taken into account be taken into account for full or partial rebuilding after a damage. 
 
The compensation from insurers is adjusted in proportion to that underinsurance and thus has major consequences for you in case you face damage to your buildings, inventory and business losses.

Appraisals ex. Art. 7:960 BW ensure the correct valuation of your property before an unexpected calamity occurs and form the basis of the insured amounts in the insurance contract. In case of damage there is no discussion about the (appraised) values and you can focus on the continuity of business operations. 

Valuations of buildings, inventory, machinery and valuables ex. Art. 7:950 BW are performed for fire damage insurance or for business valuations. 

In practice we see that insured amounts are (much) too low. This leads irrevocably to a lower payment in case of full or partial damage with all its consequences for you. A thorough expert valuation prevents this risk!

Business appraisals are performed for the takeover of a company, partial purchase or sale of buildings and/or contents, balance sheet valuation, amicable settlement with the tax authorities, conversion of legal form and bankruptcy.

Our Way of Working

In advance, we discuss with you what the purpose of the appraisal is and a quote follows at competitive rates. 

When commissioned, an appointment to gather relevant information and review the property(s) to be appraised follows. 

The appraiser calculates the value of the object(s) to be appraised. 

You will receive a final report which, if required, we will forward directly to insurers and/or intermediaries for linkage with the policy.

The date for revaluation will be scheduled in our systems. You will automatically receive a no-obligation reminder for reappraisal.
