We use our know-how and experience for the risk and damage cases of insurers, reinsurers and/or their relations.

And we do so in the development phase, during the design and construction of the most varied projects such as housing construction, non-residential construction (apartment complexes, high-rise, offices, shops, industrial buildings, hospitals, etc.), infrastructural projects (roads, tunnels, bridges, locks, pumping stations, flood defences such as dikes and weirs, rail infrastructure, cables and pipelines, etc.), as well as the operational phase.

On the final acceptance of such structures and buildings, during the operational phase, our experts are also involved in inspecting, assessing and appraising the operational and technical risks for insurance companies and/or their relations.

This includes fire safety inspections, NEN 2767 and SCIOS Scope inspections aimed at electrical and mechanical installations, appraisals for fire insurance in accordance with article 7:960 of the Dutch Civil Code, building safety and sustainability. We thus make a significant contribution to the quality of the risks, limiting the burden of claims of insurers and their relations as well as to the continuity of the activities of the parties involved.

The insurance sector

Insurance companies want to properly assess the risks to be insured and keep them manageable. The aim is to prevent claims and limit the claim burden as much as possible at a fair insurance premium for the client. Knowledge of the risks and measures to prevent or limit damage claims is decisive in this, both for insurers, reinsurers and policyholders.

For a wide range of insurance products and the related risks, we use our know-how and experience for the risk and damage cases of insurers, reinsurers and/or their policyholders.

A wide range of services

This includes fire safety inspections, NEN 2767 and SCIOS Scope inspections aimed at electrical and mechanical installations, building safety and sustainability. The risk insured is also appraised by our risk experts.

We furthermore have specialists for appraisals for fire insurance policies of buildings, inventory/machinery, (agricultural) work equipment, art collections and antiques. These expert appraisals in accordance with article 7:960 of the Dutch Civil Code determine the value of the risks to be insured which avoids any discussion on this point after damage occurs.
With our services we make a significant contribution to the quality of the risks, limiting the burden of claims of insurers and their relations as well as to the continuity of the activities of the parties involved.
