Project description
In Amsterdam-West a lot of hard work has gone into the Kwintijn project. This construction project consists of 2 phases. The first phase concerned the construction of a 2-storey, underground car park with 166 homes and commercial units on top. In the meantime that first phase has been rounded off.
In the second phase, a 2-storey, underground car park will be built with 109 homes on top. The delivery of this phase is expected at the beginning of 2017.
Services performed by SOCOTEC
SOCOTEC carried out pre construction surveys prior to both the first and second phase. During the execution of both phases, it also carried out all manner of complex monitoring work such as slope measurements of the sheet pile walls, measurements of the X-Y-Z coordinates and height, vibration and noise measurements. A damage helpdesk was set up for the local residents which they can use to register any damage allegedly caused by the work carried out.
